Linjer Jewelry Review – be cautious before buying

In recent times, ordering things online has become a convenient choice. Whether it’s groceries, clothes, or even jewelry, we prefer these items delivered to our doorsteps.

But isn’t it important to acknowledge that not every brand or online store is genuine? Keeping that in mind, let’s review the products of Linjer, an online store that claims to sell sustainable fine jewelry for women.

They have no physical stores and operate entirely online. With many other products to showcase, you can find various options to buy on their website.

However, do these products look the same as they do online? Is the quality of these products acceptable? In short, are they worth their price?

In this Linjer jewelry review, we will shed some light on the facts and try to understand if the company is what it claims to be.

What is Linjer?

Linjer is a brand selling minimalist leather goods and accessories and Jewelry.

The brand was founded in 2014 by Jennifer Chong and Roman Khan, who sought to create high-quality, timeless, functional, and stylish products.

It was started as an initiative to make premium jewelry and other products available cheaply.

The company sources its materials from some of the best tanneries in Italy, known for using environmentally friendly processes.

It mentions on its website that it uses traditional craftsmanship techniques to create its products, ensuring they are made to last.

One of the most popular products from Linjer is its range of leather bags. These bags are designed with functionality, featuring compartments and pockets to keep everything organized.

The bags are also made from high-quality leather that is both soft and durable, making them an excellent investment for anyone who wants a bag that will last for years.

Here are the various categories of items Linjer sells to its customers on its online store:

Jewelry: The brand offers a limited selection of jewelry. You can find necklaces, rings, earrings, and other items on their list. The website has limited options in terms of design. The rings are available in different sizes, and you can choose the one that fits you.

Bags: Linjer also sells leather bags for ladies designed with functionality and minimalism in mind. The bags include tote bags, doctor’s bags, and crossbody bags, and they are made from high-quality leather that is soft and durable. The bags also feature compartments and pockets.

Watches: Linjer’s collection of watches includes classic, minimalist, and chronograph styles. The watches are made from high-quality materials, including Italian leather straps and Swiss movements, and they are designed to be timeless and elegant.

Linjer Customer Reviews

The customer reviews are of mixed opinions when the website talks highly about the company and the brand.

The Good

Some customers have praised the company’s unique jewelry styles and high-quality products. They have acknowledged the cost difference that Linjer has when compared to the other brands.

These jewelry and bags are cheaper and more cost-efficient than the ones sold by more prominent brands.

The Bad

Regarding negative reviews, many customers seem disappointed with the company’s service and the products they sell.

Some customers have blamed Linjer for having a laid-back service. According to them, Linjer has been unable to help these customers with the proper resolution in many instances.

For example, people have claimed that the company asks for shipping charges. In addition, customers also have to pay return charges if they are not happy with the product.

This way, people must spend a lot of money on things they do not buy.

In addition, some customers have not liked the jewelry and receive scratched, broken, or incorrect items. However, because of the return policy, they have paid for nothing.

Not just that, some reviews talk about the company’s fake claims of being sustainable. This jewelry does not stand everyday use, let alone passing to the generation claims.

However, validating such claims is difficult unless the company is transparent about its manufacturing process.

Linjer Reviews on TrustPilot

The Linjer reviews from TrustPilot indicate that although Linjer tries to address every customer issue, they fail to provide good customer support and a fair return policy.

Customers have criticized the company’s strict return policy, leading to several negative reviews.

To foster customer loyalty and trust, businesses must prioritize customer satisfaction by offering a reasonable return policy.

Linjer Review By Emre, 1/5 stars

Emre Aydin from CA rated Linjer 1/5 stars on the TrustPilot experience and review platform, which occurred on April 14, 2022, and had ordered two rings from the Linjer website for their partner.

However, when they received an email saying the order had been delivered, they didn’t receive anything.

Emre contacted the company and was told their partner had signed the order.

Emre told Linjer that they didn’t receive or sign anything, and when they checked the delivery document, the address was not the same as the one entered on the website.

Emre was unhappy that Linjer didn’t take responsibility for giving the wrong address to FedEx and expected them to track the order and deal with FedEx.

Linjer responded to Emre’s review by apologizing for the address issue and stating they were still investigating the courier. They offered Emre a re-ship or a refund to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Linjer Review By Tina, 1/5 Stars

The review from Tina H in the US rated Linjer one out of five stars on TrustPilot. Tina’s experience occurred on March 18, 2023.

Tina paid almost $600 for a ring that looked great in the picture but was cheaply manufactured.

She tried to return it after one week, but Linjer wouldn’t let her return it because they claimed it was scratched.

Tina argued that the scratches were light and looked like they could have been there when she received the ring.

Tina was unhappy with Linjer’s return policy and believed they didn’t support their product.

Linjer responded to Tina’s review by acknowledging the disappointment but stating that their return policy was clearly stated on their website.

They also noted that the ring was returned to them badly scratched and not in its original condition, so that they couldn’t re-sell it.

Per their return policy, they would return the ring to Tina. Linjer apologized for any disappointment caused and hoped that Tina could find a home for the piece.

Linjer Review By Laurel, 1/5 Stars

The review by Laurel Stewart in the US rated Linjer one out of five stars on TrustPilot on September 27, 2022.

Laurel ordered size seven rings, which were surprisingly loose and didn’t fit her finger when they arrived.

She contacted customer service and measured the inner diameter of the rings, which measured 18mm instead of the 17.3 they were supposed to measure.

Laurel provided photo evidence, but Linjer declined to assist her.

Linjer responded to Laurel’s review by apologizing for her bad experience. They noted that the measurements aligned with their size chart and that the issue was with where the tape was in the photos Laurel sent.

Linjer also stated that they hoped Laurel had received her refund for her return and apologized again that the sizing didn’t work for her.

Linger Reviews on 99consumer

Alison Oliver purchased a ring from Linjer and found the sizing to be slightly off, with one ring being too large.

She also noted that the stones’ color differed from what was shown in the photos and that the Paula ring was easily scratched.

Alison was disappointed with the quality and price and said she would never purchase from Linjer again.

Sarah Martinson had a poor experience with Linjer’s customer service after her watch stopped working properly.

Despite suggesting a potential solution, the issue was not resolved, and Linjer refused to accept her return during the warranty period, ultimately leaving her with a useless watch.

She found the service to be shady and the quality of the watch to be poor.

John Elcoate purchased three rings from Linjer and experienced a delay in delivery due to product unavailability.

He also found the rings too big and had to return them at his own cost, including insurance.

He was disappointed with the customer service and noted that he would choose other brands in the future, despite Linjer’s lower prices.

Linjer has received negative reviews on, with customers expressing frustration with the quality of products and customer service.

Despite this, Linjer has not responded to any of the negative reviews.

Linjer taking customers for granted

Despite Linjer’s efforts to resolve their customers’ issues, their products and customer support frequently receive negative reviews and complaints.

These problems suggest that there may be underlying issues with their manufacturing processes, quality control, or customer service policies.

Linjer needs to re-evaluate and improve its operations to serve its customers better and maintain a positive reputation in the market.

Linjer Alternative

There are many alternatives to Linjer when purchasing sustainable fine jewelry for women. Some popular options include:

  1. Vrai Vrai offers a range of sustainable and ethically-sourced fine jewelry at affordable prices. They use lab-grown diamonds and recycled gold to create their beautiful pieces.
  2. Catbird – Catbird offers a range of unique and sustainable fine jewelry pieces handmade in their Brooklyn studio. They prioritize ethical sourcing and use recycled metals whenever possible.
  3. Mejuri – Mejuri is a Toronto-based brand that offers a variety of sustainable fine jewelry pieces for women. They use ethically-sourced materials and provide transparent pricing to their customers.
  4. Aurate – Aurate offers a range of minimalist and sustainable fine jewelry pieces made with recycled gold and ethically-sourced diamonds. They prioritize transparency and ethical production practices.

These are just a few of the many alternative options to Linjer for sustainable fine jewelry. Researching and choosing a brand that aligns with your values and offers high-quality, ethically-sourced products is essential.

To be candid, Linjer, although started in 2014, has not been able to create a very trustworthy footprint among its customers.

There are lots of reviews that talk about their way of handling customers’ problems. In addition, the products aren’t ordinary or exclusive. They lack fine-tuning and are underprepared with rough edges and blunt ends.

Overall, the company sells a few items at a lower price. Hence, you can check the website if you are looking for affordable items.

However, it is better to look for other options because of the questionable quality. Many different online stores have affordable yet high-quality products.

Today, shipping and return fees are not standard. Companies do not charge that from the customers. So, if you do not want to pay these extra charges, keep your distance from Linjer. It might not be worth your time and attention.
