Not Worth It
I’m really disappointed with how I was treated. It seems like they prioritize certain sellers and selectively choose who they want to buy from. The offers I received were low, but I accepted them because I had won the items. More recently, I sent in a bag that was rejected for being "damaged." Based on what I’ve seen listed and sold on WN—items in worse shape—this didn’t make sense. The photo showed a loose thread, nothing more. It felt unfair and dismissive. What bothered me most was the overall tone—being called the wrong name in emails and made to feel like I wasn’t worth their time. I won’t be buying or selling here again. I’d rather go somewhere I’m treated with basic respect.
Rude Customer Service
I bought an LV bag for $1240, and it definitely wasn’t worth the price. When I tried to return it, I was told it was a final sale. There was no mention of this anywhere—no indication on the website, in the email confirmation, or on the invoice. When I contacted customer service, they just told me it was a final sale and that I was out of luck. I thought myGemma stood by its products, but clearly, it doesn’t. The customer service was rude and unprofessional. I won’t be buying from this company again.
Not Worth the Price
I purchased a Louis Vuitton bag for $1,100, and honestly, it didn’t live up to the price. When I tried to return it, I was told it was a final sale. The problem is, there was no mention of it being final sale—not during the checkout process, not in the email confirmation, and not on the invoice. When I reached out to customer service for clarification, I was met with a dismissive response and told there was nothing they could do. I expected better from a company like myGemma. Unfortunately, the experience left me feeling let down—especially by the rude and unprofessional customer support. I wouldn’t recommend buying from them.
Untrustworthy Company
Do not shop here—it seems like the reviews are fake. MyGemma is a terrible company. I purchased an item, but they declined my payment and told me to send a wire transfer instead because they didn’t approve my credit card. They blamed it on chargebacks, saying they use a third-party service, and insisted I pay via wire transfer. On top of that, the representative I spoke with, Nicole, was extremely rude. To make matters worse, my credit card company contacted me today, informing me that my account is now under review because MyGemma falsely flagged me for chargebacks—even though I’ve had this account for over 20 years with no issues. DO NOT TRUST THEM!
I received it within an acceptable amount of time
I bought a bracelet at Gemma. I received it within an acceptable amount of time. It was smaller than I had hoped to wear, however I love it so I'll be keeping it.I'll present this to my niece for an anniversary present when she's a bit more mature.
I'm satisfied with my purchase and it was very simple
I'm satisfied with my purchase and it was very simple. The item was intended to be a Bat Mitzva gift, but I was not given the option of choosing a "gift." Consequently I needed to ship it to my home. It arrived in a box however, there was there was no box. Because of the holidays timing, it came in later than anticipated. I spent nearly 40 dollars. It was delivered overnight to the receiver. A gift box that has the ribbon could have been appreciated.
I'm pleased about the quality of the item
I wish they had more photos. The description for the Chanel back doesn't mention additional scuffs on leather or hardware.Same to the stitching of the LV pochette label. In other words, I'm pleased about the quality of the item.
It was not what I expected to get jewelry for paying so much
The necklace had a lot of knots. It was just put in the plastic bag, not paying attention. It took over an hour to get all knots off. It was not what I expected to get jewelry for paying so much.
Never order from them once again
Bracelet arrived with a clasp that was broken. The clasp was broken just before Xmas and I couldn't exchange the Bracelet which is why I went to my local jeweler shop and having it repaired. Never order from them once again.
I'm very disappointed by the level of customer service. The company may be rated highly to those who buy local in the US however, be cautious if purchasing from abroad as the taxes for import are not transparent to me. I was charged $136 in shipping fees after which they added $800 in taxes The tax is a huge amount! This shouldn't be included in the purchasing process, especially since at the time you access the website, it asks you if you're buying from Australia. The bag I purchased started at $4800 and was taken out of my credit card right away after which 5 days later I realized that the cost has been increased to $5103. Then it was $5103! And then an additional $1900 added on is absurd. I'm not happy.
The stone is too big for me and appears like a sham
The only photo I could find was of the ring I bought, and it was not even a decent image. I didn't know how big the quartz stone was or the silver edges' rough outlines. The stone is too big for me and appears like a sham. I'm not thrilled about my purchase. It should have had many more pictures, particularly with a pencil eraser or some other object placed on top of it to indicate how big. I tried my luck with it but was unsuccessful...
