Bigscam.org offers resources and tips to help individuals protect themselves from scams and fraud. It provides information on spotting and avoiding common scams and what to do if you fall victim to a scam.
100% Scam
Received the same message with the same number "Melissa" with a spoof's number from the state of New York, which I've not resided in or had any affiliation with for over 20 years. It's a scam, and the message that they left behind is recorded, and not the genuine person who called.
SCAM CALLING
I also received the famed EMI Melissa Message also. Then they called me on an unrelated number, too today . Also, the phone didn't be able to ring, but went directly to voicemail. The house we live in is gated as well as cameras, and there was nobody in the outside. I am sure this is an SCAM caller. I'm thinking of calling them to inquire about the details of what they are looking for, however, I'll wait until I'm able and bored.
Fraud Alert
The phone did not ring, but the person's name was Crystal of EMI. She had two unsuccessful attempts to obtain the signature of someone else and will be calling me to change my address. It is a time-sensitive matter and I would like to contact the office of the agency at 469-445-7058.
Scamming People
It's sad that scammers are stealing from individuals. I do my best to keep my credit rating and financial situation in order. It is imperative that people get a new life and work and stop deceiving customers. There is a need for a lawsuit against them, and they must pay for the mistake they made. Perhaps it can bring an end to or a slowdown in the chaos.
