Bigscam.org offers resources and tips to help individuals protect themselves from scams and fraud. It provides information on spotting and avoiding common scams and what to do if you fall victim to a scam.
There are several issues that need improvement: quality control, customer service, attention to detail, and turnaround time. I’ve been using Modern Postcard to print business cards for a client since 2022. This time, the cards came out too dark, and key design details were lost. I provided photos comparing previous print runs, mailed a sample, and even approved a press sheet—but all of that took way more time than it should have. If the printer had reviewed past jobs for consistency, it could’ve been avoided. On top of that, I was charged tax even though I’m a reseller, and I had trouble getting in touch with my sales rep or her backup to fix it.
Order Delays Over Simple Address Issue
I’ve ordered from Modern Postcard for years and like the quality when I actually receive my order. However, this is the third time they've delayed my order because my credit card didn’t go through. The issue is always the different zip codes between my billing and shipping addresses. Despite providing this information multiple times, they still haven’t updated it or contacted me. They really need to improve.
Repeated Order Delays
I've been ordering from Modern Postcard for years and usually appreciate the quality, but this is the third time my order has been delayed due to my credit card not going through. The issue is always the same — my billing address has a different ZIP code than my shipping address. Despite providing this information multiple times, they still haven't updated it and fail to reach out to me. They really need to improve in this area.
Not Worth the Cost
I wouldn’t use them again. The service was poor, and they’re not the cheapest. It took over 4 weeks to send a simple letter, while other companies can do it in less than 3 days. There was too much back-and-forth, and they added unexpected fees.
No Justification for Extra Fee
I was charged an unexpected $30 design fee. I emailed the sales rep to ask about it, but never got a response. I would’ve been less frustrated if someone had at least explained the charge, but the lack of communication made it worse.
Disappointing Service and Poor Resolution
I will not be using this service again. This experience was far from satisfactory—slow, full of mistakes, costly, and delayed. They sent the wrong envelopes, and the resolution process was poor. There were unexpected extra costs and slow responses, along with poor communication throughout. It was a completely different experience compared to the 25 previous orders I’ve placed. I was offered a minimal refund, but only as a credit for “future use,” which I have no intention of using. The customer service reps were friendly, but the overall performance was disappointing.
