Disappointed by Lack of Reply
The product arrived in perfect condition and tasted great. Unfortunately, I found a piece of almond shell in the nougat after biting into it, which hurt my gum. I emailed the company with the batch details to give feedback, but never got any response or acknowledgment. That lack of follow-up was disappointing.
Box Is Smaller Than Expected
The chocolate tastes great and looks nice. Packaging was good, but the coolant was warm on arrival. If it had been summer, the chocolate probably wouldāve melted. Also, the box was much smaller than expectedāthe product photos are misleading. Overall, itās very expensive, and thereās no real benefit to importing it to Saudi Arabia.
Bad Customer Service
The chocolates tasted good, but the ādouble orderā claim was misleading. I expected twice the Z chocolates, but instead got random bars to make up the weight. I was also told all fees were covered, but I had to pay over $30 on delivery. Luckily, I had them sent to my house and not my parentsā, who were supposed to get the gift. I contacted customer service twice with proof, but never got a response. I donāt plan to order again.
All Good But Incomplete Order
The chocolates were excellentāgreat quality and delivered quickly, thank you. But the extra lock my partner ordered wasnāt included. That really ruined the moment. We were on a video call, unboxing everything together for Valentineās Day, and the whole idea was for me to guess the code to open the lock. It just wasnāt there.
Misleading Product Size
I find the way you display your chocolates misleading. The size of the boxes I received was much smaller than I expected. I was anticipating a standard-sized "box of chocolates" based on the images on your website. Your product is priced as premium, but the actual size didnāt match the expectations set by your online images. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic.
Gift Arrived Damaged
I sent a box of chocolates as a gift, hoping to make a great impression. The chocolates themselves are excellent and the presentation inside the box was clearly well done. Unfortunately, the package arrived at my friendās place crushed and partly opened. She said everything inside was intact, but the damaged box really ruined the overall impact I was going for.
Be cautious if you're thinking of shipping anything from ZChocolat to India. I paid $50 for a box of chocolates, but after paying duties and additional fees, the total cost ended up being $120. The issue is that the company didnāt provide clear information about the extra charges Iād be facing. Instead, they included a vague disclaimer, probably knowing it would be expensive. Had I known about these additional costs upfront, I never would have gone through with it. I really canāt believe that a company that advertises shipping to India isnāt aware that customers end up paying more in shipping and duties than the chocolates themselves are worth. If youāre sending to India, I strongly recommend thinking twice. A $50 box can end up costing $120 just to get into the country, and the company shouldāve been more transparent about this. Unfortunately, they had no incentive to be upfront, as I imagine few would order if they knew the full cost ahead of time.
Not Worth the Price
I just received the zchocolate I ordered as a gift, and Iām honestly shocked at how small everything is. The box is smaller than my hand, and each chocolate is about half a bite. After paying for shipping and surcharges, it came to $80 for this tiny box. I got 30 chocolates as part of their holiday promotion, but even with that deal, it still doesnāt feel worth the cost. Iāve bought chocolates from all over the world and have no problem paying more for high quality, but this is almost laughable. If you're expecting a normal-sized box of chocolates, as most would for this price, Iād recommend looking elsewhere. Definitely not worth the price, and honestly, Iām embarrassed to give this as a gift.
Unreliable Delivery for Special Occasions
I ordered chocolate as a gift for a special occasion two weeks ago, and the package was supposed to be delivered three days ago. However, as of today, it still hasnāt arrived, and my occasion is today, which is extremely embarrassing. It looks like it will take another two days to deliver! I would not rely on themāthey are not dependable for special occasions.
