Unhelpful Customer Service
When I inquired about the difference between the Chรขteau Laguiole and Forge de Laguiole while placing my order, I had some difficulty communicating since English is not my first language. I understand that this may have made the conversation challenging, but the woman I spoke with was irritated, cold, and unwilling to helpโwhich I found unprofessional and lacking in hospitality. I have been using Laguiole professionally for over 15 years, and while the quality of the material is good, itโs hard to appreciate when the customer service experience is so unpleasant.
The item was shipped well and in perfect state
I found a review on YouTube of Old Bear 19. Old Bear 19 . Was impressed by what I saw . I really liked the locking mechanism that the blade has. A great dimension to carry around the pocket knife. The blade could use a bit of polishing of the ring of brass for more attractive appearance. The item was shipped well and in perfect state.
Beautiful corkscrew but I find it difficult to operate
Beautiful corkscrew but I find it difficult to operate. Its "boot lever" (?) appears to be very small and can be difficult to remove the cork. I'm hoping that with time it becomes more user-friendly.
Really unhappy.
It was sent without personalization. It was suggested that I return the item and have it customized, however I'm a sommelier in an expensive steakhouse and can't afford to miss an official wine key. Really unhappy.
Shame on you.
I was to have my name inscribed on the wine keys I ordered from you. However you didn't claim to offer a service you're not offer knowingly and honestly. Shame on you.
poor condition
I adore the knife. It's got a stunning handle that is very well-made. However, I was unhappy with how it was presented when delivered. The interior was covered in rust, and the opening seemed highly rigid. I thought it was because the blade was fresh; however, a couple of days later, it appeared stronger. I shined a flashlight under the edge and saw even more rust within once it was fully opened. With a bit of oil, the opening and closing of the knife are soft and smooth, but taking the rust off the blade's well has also removed the marks I'd made inside. It now works.
