Beware of the Scam at Mucksu
While working, I when I saw an advertisement appear for a bargain Muck Boots. This pop-up led my attention to mucksu.com. Then, a couple of days later I decided to buy boots. I went straight to www.mucksu.com and purchased four pair of Muck Boots. I was emailed a tracking number, and then a couple of weeks later, I was sent a bracelet in place of the boots. I asked them about the bracelet, and they advised me that the order could have been accidentally switched with another purchase. When the time came I contacted back to the business and was told my order was not in stock and I had to select from a range of other products like facial masks as well as bracelets. I sent an email stating that wanted to return the product but was now seeking an exchange. I was informed I could get a refund of 32% after I had returned the bracelet. However, I'd need to pay for the shipping (the "company" is located in Hong Kong). It was obvious that I wouldn't pay for shipping... The transaction was handled by EPL*Fayerwar Company. The email address I was communicating with was [email protected]. This was a fraud.
Fake Website
I bought some boots since they were inexpensive and was stated that if I order more than 70 dollars, it's free shipping. Then I discovered it was an untrue site. Therefore, I contacted my card to make a claim against the charges and then wrote to the website asking if I'd like to cancel my purchase. It was a good thing I discovered it couple of minutes after placing my order.
Online Shopping Scam
I believed I were getting Muck boots at a bargain price, but got a couple of packs of masks for just $75.
